HABITAT By A.S Emmanuel
I wish I can be young again.
Erasing the adolescence experiences
The fear of taking for granted
An obstacle in my imagination and mind
Earth is my dwelling
Life is my teacher
Experience my lessons
Trauma my reward.
That create in me personalities
I wish I haven't go deep in life
I wish I have not known the pleasure
To turn back is difficult, it is in my marrow
To God be the glory
My teacher taught me my weakness
My strength, my talent.
It made me understand.
Man's fate and destination
A working clock;
It can either be powered or neglected
Hope lost? I have myself beside
My hope lies in my destination
The traffic jam is a test of faith
To God be the glory
I am a living habitat
I have the working cell
And the reasoning.
